Minimum hourly rates 2022/23 (from 1st April 2022)

Age 18 to 20£6.83 per hour
Age under 18£4.81 per hour
Apprentice aged below 19 or aged 19+ and in the first year£4.81 per hour
Apprentice aged 19 or over and past first yearRate according to age as above

 

 

Statutory payments 2022/23 (w.e.f. 3rd April 2022)

Statutory Sick Pay (see below)£99.35 per week maximum 28 weeks
Statutory Maternity Pay90% of AWE for first 6 weeks. Then the lower of 90% of AWE or £156.66 per week for 33 weeks.
Statutory Paternity PayThe lower of £156.66 per week or 90% of AWE for up to 2 consecutive weeks.
Shared Parental PayThe lower of £156.66 per week or 90% of average weekly earnings for up to 37 weeks.
Statutory Adoption Pay90% of AWE for first 6 weeks. Then the lower of 90% of AWE or £156.66 per week for 33 weeks.
Parental Bereavement PayUp to two weeks at £156.66 per week.
Parental LeaveUnpaid

Please note, Statutory Sick Pay increase applies from 6th April 2022.
