"Planet Education has been using the services of Debbie at Parallel HR since April 2016 when she was recommended to help us with a TUPE project. Straight away it became apparent to myself and our CEO that Debbie could help our business moving forward. Debbie started to work alongside us with regard to employment contracts and ensuring we were up to date with legislation. Our business model prides itself on its high standards of employing and looking after its staff, so this was key. Over the years Debbie has become an integral part of our business and is viewed as an invaluable member of staff providing direction, advice and support through good business times and bad.
Debbie’s support and impact on our business has been far-reaching and often goes without being highlighted! When our business, like so many others, navigated the COVID pandemic, she was there to help us every step of the way. Personally, without her calm and encouraging approach, I would have struggled to see the way through the challenges our business faced. We remain very proud of how we conducted ourselves as a responsible employer during those difficult times, and this is in no small way down to Debbie.
In the last year we have had business opportunities that resulted in the need for rapid recruitment and employment. Debbie’s enthusiasm for this mirrored our own and she worked tirelessly alongside our team putting processes and procedures in place to ensure we recruited safely, pre-employment checks were carried out and full compliance for our industry was met. Her genuine wish for us to succeed shone through and she went above and beyond for us at a critical time.
